Ivan Toney to secure massive £400k-A-WEEK in Saudi Pro League deal

Brentford star Ivan Toney has just cracked a huge £40m deal with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli on deadline day.

Ivan Toney has signed a humongous deal of £84million to move to Al-Ahli.

The 28-year-old has signed a deal worth £403,000-a-week including bonuses for four years which is an £800,000-a-week equivalent without tax in the UK.

The amount Toney will receive is more than 13 times the £36,000-a-week wage he picked up at Brentford. In the 2022-23 season, he scored 20 goals in 33 Premier League games for the Bees.

Following his return after an eight-month ban for breaking FA gambling rules, he scored four times in his first five matches. Overall, netting 72 times in 141 games since joining Brentford in 2020.

The English man will join serial Premier League title winner and former Manchester City Riyad Mahrez, followed by Ex-Chelsea Champions League-winning keeper Edouard Mendy and Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino, who lifted the Champions Leagues with Liverpool at Al Ahli.

Apart from club football Toney also played in the EURO 2044 and has six caps and scored one goal for the national team. Toney has not given up on playing for England again despite being left out by interim England boss Lee Carsley’s squad for this month’s Nations League games,

On Instagram, Toney posted an emotional farewell statement to Brentford after leaving the club: “Where do I even begin. It’s hard to find the right words to express what Brentford FC means to me. From the moment I first stepped onto the pitch wearing the shirt, I knew I was part of something special.

“My first and most important shout out is to “The Bees” simply the best and most incredible fans in the world. Together, we’ve shared unforgettable moments – highs, lows, challenges, and triumphs that will stay with me forever. The love and support you’ve shown me through thick and thin is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

“I would like to say a special thank you to my gaffer, Thomas Frank! You trusted me and helped make me the player I am today, I can only hope I repaid back your faith a little bit. Brentford FC, I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together, and I’ll always carry the memories I’ve made here.

“Gaining promotion to the Premier League and earning my first England call up during my time here were special moments. I will also never forget my comeback game and the atmosphere of that night at the Community Stadium, that day emphasised how special this club is.

“As I prepare to begin this new journey, I want to thank each and every one of you for your unconditional support. To my teammates, the manager, the backroom staff, the owners, and again, a special mention to The Bees – thank you. There’s no need for onion chopping, because as I always say – see you soon, it’s never a goodbye. Ivan.”
