Juventus interested in Jadon Sancho with Manchester United hoping for a big bid

Manchester United are eyeing a hefty sum to load off their 24-year-old winger Jadon Sancho. The player has been linked to various clubs in the ongoing summer transfer window. French stalwarts Paris Saint Germain looked highly interested in the early days, but a deal is looking impossible, with Manchester United demanding higher value.

It has now been learned from multiple reports that Serie A side Juventus are showing heavy interest in luring the winger in. What raises the speculation more is Juventus Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli is a big fan of the player, and the side is desperate to sign two wingers before the fast-approaching deadline day.

However, a deal is very unlikely to strike. As per The Athletic, a financial agreement that suits both clubs is difficult to achieve. The Red Devils are reportedly wanting a transfer fee of 40 million Euros for Sancho, although the high bid is being matched by none.

Manchester United had loaned Jadon Sancho to his former club Borussia Dortmund earlier this year. However, it has been reported that the English giants aren’t willing to go for a loan deal any further and would want to sell Sancho on a permanent transfer.

However, it is also being speculated that a loan deal with Juventus will only be entertained if they give a hefty loan fee to United, along with including an obligation to buy in the contract. United might also prefer to keep Sancho in the squad instead of loaning him out for a cut-price deal.

Owing to his quality skills and heroics in Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United signed Jadon Sancho in 2021, for a massive fee of 85 million Euros. However, he failed to impress in the English club, featuring in only 83 games to date, scoring 12 goals.
