OFFICIAL: Chelsea sign Man United winger Jadon Sancho on deadline day

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has completed his season-long loan move to Chelsea with the club having the obligation to buy the England international for between £20-25m next summer.

Chelsea managed to submit a deal sheet before the 11 pm deadline and had until 1 am to complete Sancho’s transfer. The 24-year-old winger is expected to sign a long-term contract next summer. The former Borussia Dortmund winger ends his three-year disastrous spell with Man Utd.

United were keen to negotiate a permanent move for the England international but his £40 million valuation proved to be a major stumbling block.
