Born on August 25, 1975, Ivan Juric is a former player who played for several top clubs and later on managed some well-known clubs as well. The former Croatian professional footballer is the current manager of Southampton in the English Premier League. The former Genoa player, started his managerial career with an Italian club, Mantova in 2014. Ivan Juric’s Playing Career
Ivan Juric started his football career at Croatian football team club known as Hajduk Split football club. During 1993–97, he was also able to prove himself as a more general and skillful playmaker, who is strong technically as well. After a good spell, he was later seen playing for Spanish club, Sevilla FC in 1997 and spent over 4 years. With few bad performances, he was loaned to Albacete in 2000 for a short stint.
After playing for Spanish club for 4 years, he moved back to his home country, Croatia and joined Sibenik where he featured in two games only. He then moved to Italian club, Crotone in 2001, where he spent majority of his playing career. Having played more than 150 games in 5 years, Ivan once again moved to a different club and this time Genoa was the club where he spent his last years as a professional football.

Ivan Juric’s International Career
Juric had a short but a very interesting international experience playing for Croatia. His first match for the team was on the friendly match on the 11th of February 2009 against Romania. He managed to accumulate five national team appearances in the year through World Cup qualification matches and friendly games. However, he did not get a chance to score for the national team but inclusion was a merit of his ability as a footballer. He last played for his country in September 2009 in a World Cup qualifier match against Belarus.

Early Career
Juric retired from playing football and moved to coaching as soon as he could, it seems. He first started as the youth coach of Genoa during the 2010–11 season. He kicked off his managerial career when in 2011 he passed his UEFA A coaching license. In that same year, he was hired by Inter Milan under the then coach, Gian Piero Gasperini as a first team coach.
