Brazil vs Colombia Player Ratings: Raphinha Shines, Vinicius Jr. Disappoints

Brazil and Colombia played out a 1-1 draw in their final Copa America 2024 group game. Raphinha scored the opening goal for the Selecaos in the 12th minute before Daniel Munhoz equalized for Colombia in the injury time of the first half. Marquinhos– 7.5: Marshalled his defense well for the majority of the game. Overall, it was a good performance from the PSG defender.

Wendell– 6: While his passing was good, Wendell was vulnerable in duel situations. He also lost possession a massive 11 times.

Bruno Guimaraes- 7: Was accurate with his passing for the most game and also managed a shot on target. He did well in duel situations as well.

Joao Gomes– 6: Failed to make any notable impact on the game. Despite passing the ball around, not his best performance.

Vinicius Junior– 7: Brazil’s main attacker failed to create the spark expected of him. He didn’t have too much of an impact on the game.

Lucas Paqueta– 7: While didn’t manage to showcase his passing range, Paqueta did well in duel situations to help his team out.

Raphinha– 8: Arguably Brazil’s best player on the pitch. Scored the opening goal and also had a good overall game.

Forward:

Rodrygo– 7: The Real Madrid ace is yet to find his best form. While he had a decent outing against Colombia, it was nothing extraordinary.
