Germany vs Ukraine Player ratings- Euro 2024 Hosts Draw in Friendly Match

Germany vs Ukraine Match Overview

Euro 2024 hosts Germany began preparations for the championship with a disappointing 0-0 draw with Ukraine in Nuremberg. Die Mannschaft finished with a staggering 27 shots in the game, of which only five were on target. Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin did a phenomenal job keeping out their mighty forwards. The visitors were happy to sit back and frustrate their hosts, as the Blue and Yellow came for a draw and got exactly that.

Julian Naglesmann’s side play Greece on Friday in their next warm-up match, before kick-starting the tournament against Scotland, a week later. Meanwhile, Ukraine travels to Poland for their next friendly.

Ilkay Gundogan– 5/10: The Manchester City star was so laborious and anemic, that he had to be hooked off at the break

Florian Wirtz- 5/10: Much was expected of the Bayer Leverkusen star following a stellar campaign, but he was a damp squib here

Kai Havertz– 5/10: Like his other attacking cohorts, Havertz too offered no great shakes in the offense for Die Mannschaft
