While he is ninth on the list, Mohamed Salah is arguably the biggest bargain on here. He arrived at Anfield from AS Roma in 2017 for £43.9 million and showed his prowess from the first season itself.

He broke the record for scoring the highest number of goals (32) in a 38-game Premier League season before Erling Haaland broke it in the 2022-23 season. Overall, Salah has scored 211 goals and provided 89 assists in 349 games for Liverpool, helping them win trophies.

8. Cody Gakpo – £44 million

Jurgen Klopp signed Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 for £44 million. While he’s shown some good moments, he’s failed to nail down a starting spot in the side so far. Gakpo has registered 23 goals and nine assists in 79 games across competitions for the club.
