PSG 1-2 Atletico Madrid: Player ratings as Angel Correa nets stoppage-time winner to sink Paris

PSG fell to a 2-1 loss to Atletico Madrid at the Parc des Princes in the Champions League on Wednesday. Warren Zaire-Emery put the hosts in front after only 14 minutes into the kick-off, as Ousmane Dembele dispossessed Clement Lenglet inside the area before laying it off for the former. Just minutes later, the Rojiblancos found themselves level as Molina restored parity with a simple finish. The Parisians continued to push for a winner, dominating possession and creating the better chances, but their visitors held firm. In the third minute of stoppage-time, however, substitute Angel Correa popped up with a winner for Atletico, who clinched all three points as PSG didn’t have enough time to claw their way back into the game. Besides the Molina goal, the PSG custodian wasn’t really challenged. Then Correa beat him with only seconds left on the clock.

Good sense of positioning, made four clearances, and used his experience to guard their defense well.
