KRAFTON India Esports just dropped the official BGMI Esports Roadmap for 2026, and it looks like it’s going to be a thrilling year for Battlegrounds Mobile India. The new season is loaded with four major tournaments, four community open competitions, and an official Awards show to celebrate the best players and teams from the country.

Krafton Announces 4 Official BGMI Events

• BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2026 in January: The year kicks off with BGIS 2026, where both new and established teams battle for national glory.
• BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2026 in May: This is where the top teams in India show off their skills and compete for the big prizes.
• BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026 in September: A mid-year battle that ties local champs to chances on the international stage.
• BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2026 in October: The big event of the year, where the best of India will go up against the top teams from the region ( Korea and Japan).

Krafton Announces 4 Community (Open For All) Events

KRAFTON is hosting four open community tournaments this year to nurture up-and-coming talent. These competitions are designed to give aspiring players a chance to showcase their skills and gain recognition in the esports scene. These details of the events are given below:

The total prize pool of all the BGMI tournaments like BGIS, BMPS, BMSD, and BMIC in 2025 had a total prize pool of over ₹4 Crore. This shows the growth in India's competitive gaming scene. KRAFTON India has played a major role in this change by putting in a lot of investment and organising tournaments. Proper focus on players is helping not only them but also the entire gaming ecosystem, where Indians are now good enough to go head-to-head with the best in the world. Krafton India Esports is going to host the Krafton India Awards 2025 on January 9, 2026, to celebrate the best in Indian esports. This annual event will shine a spotlight on the fan favourite and best performing players, teams, and creators who’ve really made a mark in BGMI and other Krafton games.
