The Liverpool right-back was born at Castlederg, Country Tyrone in Northern Ireland. His unwavering passion for football grew at a tender age and he started to display his authority in the game at a local club named Aghyaran St Davog’s. 

At the age of 9, he joined the youth academy of St Patrick’s. Over there, he honed his skills and started to excel in different areas of football. His blistering performances on turf caught the eyes of Liverpool’s Northern Ireland training center, and they also provided him necessary training in his developing phase. 

His father Joe Bradley was a pillar of support in the initial days of his journey. Bradley senior always motivated him to choose the path of being a professional football player.

The versatile Irish football star embarked on his footballing journey in his childhood. He enrolled himself in two renowned youth setups – St Patrick’s and Dungannon Swifts to use his potential. Conor Bradley showed resilience and strength in difficult situations during the games constantly, attracting the scouting team of Liverpool. 

Liverpool (2019 – present)

Bradley’s versatility and technical ability made him a hot prospect in the market. The Reds did not waste any time to sign the player in 2019. That’s how his career took an impressive turn at a young age. He was a part of Liverpool’s youth academy in Northern Ireland and his transfer to Anfield reflected on his meteoric rise as a footballer. Initially he was admitted on a two-year scholarship program. But, his potential and dedication earned him a three-year contract in 2020. 

Bradley became the player from Northern Ireland to play for Liverpool in 90 years since Sammy Smyth plied his trade with the English club in 1954. The young right-back made his first professional debut for the Reds in an EFL game in 2021 against Norwich City. 

However, due to squad congestion, Jurgen Klopp and Co. sent Bradley to Bolton Wanderers on a one-year loan deal in 2022. He scored his first goal for the Championship club in the 5-1 EFL Cup victory against Salford City. His incredible performances handed him the “Player of the Year for Bolton Wanderers” in his debut season. 

After a one-year stay in the English second division, Conor Bradley returned to Liverpool. His first goal for the Reds came in an impressive fashion as he scored a beautiful goal in a 4-1 win against Chelsea. He won his first silverware for the Merseyside outfit when he lifted the 2024 EFL Cup after beating Liverpool 1-0 in the final showdown.

International career

Bradley became a sensation in Northern Ireland when he was a teenager. At the age of 15, he played for the country’s U16 team and led them to the Victory Shield victory. After three years of commanding services, he received his first senior call-up in 2021. His senior debut for the Northern Ireland national football team came in an international friendly against Malta in the same year. He netted his first international goal at the senior level against Scotland and propelled his side to a 1-0 away win.
