It was a historic night for Georgian football on Wednesday (June 26) after they beat 2016 champions Portugal in the Euro 2024 at the Veltins Arena in Germany. The 2-0 win which will see Georgia continue their run in the knockout stage of the tournament had star man Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Georges Mikautadze to thank, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Co were left to rue their chances.
