The veteran number 10 reportedly fell on the pitch in extreme discomfort around the 65-th minute mark of the game. Leo was holding one of his ankles. After leaving the field rather gingerly, when Messi made it to the dugout and sat there, he burst into tears.
The extent of Lionel Messi’s possible foot injury was revealed when cameras showed his heavily swollen left ankle while he was sitting in the Argentine dugout.
