Luton Town vs Fulham Preview

Luton Town vs Fulham will take place at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League as the Hatters prepare to take on the Cottagers in what will be their last game before being relegated.

The hosts will enter this contest on the back of a rather poor run of form. They have secured just one win in their last nine Premier League games, recording two draws and six defeats in the remaining eight. This has resulted in Luton slipping into the relegation zone, to get out of which they will need to win their next game by 13 goals or more to have a chance of staying up. They lost 3-1 to West Ham United in their last game and will look to end the season well.

The visitors, on the other hand, will not have much to play for either and are in a slightly better run of form. They have won two of their last nine games, recording three draws and four defeats in the remaining games. Currently sitting in 14th place with 44 points, they cannot drop lower considering the four-point gap over Everton, but could finish as high as 12th if other results go their way. They were humbled 4-0 by champions-elect Manchester City in their last game and will look to bounce back.

With that said, let’s take a look at the team news coming out of both camps.

Luton Town vs Fulham Prediction

History suggests that games between these two sides at Kenilworth Road usually resulted in close encounters, with the hosts getting something out of it. That pattern is likely to continue as Luton will be raring to get something from their game despite chances of survival looking bleak.

Fulham, on the other hand, have won just one of their last five away games but will look to put in a decent performance. This game could end in an entertaining score draw.
