Nicolas Jackson has sent a message to Chelsea fans ahead of the London derby against Tottenham. The Blues recently suffered a 5-0 derby defeat against Arsenal. Jackson wants an improved result Tottenham.

Jackson spoke about the importance of such a game and added that the team will look to make a point for the fans. The Senegalese striker said ahead of the Spurs game (via Blue_Footy on X):

“We are going to fight because London derbies are not easy. Last week we lost one and we don’t want that to happen again. So we’re going to fight as a team, fight for the club, and it’s a derby that is very important for the club and the players. We are going to fight for it. We will try to do it as a team, one family, and try to make the supporters happy.”

Chelsea are currently ninth in EPL with 48 points from 33 matches. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won two of their last five league games, drawing two and losing another. Spurs, meanwhile, are fifth with 60 points from 33 matches. They have won two, lost two, and have drawn one of their last five league matches. Much like Chelsea, Tottenham recently lost a London derby against Arsenal (3-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium).
