Portuguese school reportedly reject Cristiano Ronaldo’s children from enrolment

Rarely, one of the greatest footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo has faced rejection after reaching the pinnacle of the sport. This time it has been the case as reports suggest that St. Julian’s School, one of Portugal’s most prestigious private institutions has rejected the enrolment of his five children. The reports come as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner plans to return to Portugal with his partner Georgina Rodriguez as renovations are going on in their lavish mansion near Lisbon.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Ronaldo and his partner were spotted in St. Petersburg. Julian School. The school is known for its high academic standards and an environment exclusive to children of the Portuguese elite.

Sources suggested that the school’s decision to refuse access to Ronaldo’s children was influenced by privacy concerns. They fear the presence of prominent families could attract undue media attention and spoil the school environment for other students.

Ronaldo, who is currently playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League might return to his home in Portugal after his retirement but his plans might have struck a blow after the school’s refusal. He is expected to start in Al Nassr’s game against Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League on Friday after he missed the last game against Al Hazem due to a virus.
