Tueart played mainly as a winger and was still prolific enough to be mistaken as a striker. He bagged 87 goals in his 238 club appearances and won the League Cup in 1975/76.

8. Gabriel Jesus

Jesus made the switch for Manchester City from Palmeiras in 2016 as a highly-rated 19-year-old and was touted to achieve big things with the club. He played as a striker but also as a winger when other players needed to be accommodated.

He spent his initial three years playing for Bury between 1963-66, before joining City that year. Bell made 426 appearances for the club, scoring 126 goals in the process. He won one First Division title, one Second Division title, and the Cup Winners’ Cup, among other honours.

Lee came through the ranks and began his initial playing career with Bolton Wanderers between 1959-67, before joining Manchester City. A short and prolific striker, Lee hit the ground running with City and bagged 128 goals in just 290 games for the club. He won one First Division title, one FA Cup, one League Cup and also the Cup Winners’ Cup.

2. Raheem Sterling

Having come through the ranks at Liverpool, Sterling spent three successful seasons with the Reds before making the switch to Manchester City in 2015. He made 339 appearances for the club, scoring 131 goals and also providing 73 assists, and is second on the list of Man City top scorers.
