Kylian Mbappe will sign bumper five-year deal with Real Madrid in the summer: Reports

Paris Saint-Germain’s outbound striker Kylian Mbappe is odds-on to join Spanish giants Real Madrid. The striker recently announced he will not be extending his existing deal with the Parisians beyond June 2024.

Now, reports from journalist Santi Aouna of Football Mercato have emerged suggesting Mbappe already has his contract laid out in front of him. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is known to be a quick mover on transfers and looks to have played his hand already.

Kylian Mbappe’s potential move to Real has been doing the rounds in football media for the better part of two years now. Should Los Blancos land their primary target, they will definitely welcome him to Spain in grand fashion.

The report adds that Mbappe will sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid running until 2029. The Frenchman will receive a mega salary in the range of €15m-€20m. That will make him one of the top earners at the club. He will also be given a massive €50m signing bonus once he joins.

To cap it off, president Perez has planned a grand unveiling for their latest ‘Galactico’. The club have recently renovated their Santiago Bernabeu stadium and will unveil Mbappe in memorable fashion should he join.

A move to the Spanish giants could be the ideal career progression for one of the world’s hottest talents. At 25, he still has around 10 years of top-level football in him, and the time to make the jump seems right.
