Saudi Pro League Al Shabad Club Overview
The Al Shabab has been the oldest and the first club ever in Riyadh. The Club won its first-ever tournament in the year 1952. It won the King Saud Cup in 1955. Due to a series of conflicts between the members of the Club a new club was formed by Abdulrahman Bin Saeed which came to be known as Al Hilal in the year 1959.
After the merger of Al Najmah FC and Al Marekh in 1967, the club ultimately was renamed from Shabab Riyadh to Al Shabab. During 1993, the Club created a record of winning 3 premiere league tournaments in a single year. Apart from that, the Club had been 6 times champions of the Saudi Pro League. At the same time, the club has also won the Saudi Kings Cup 3 times.

Al Shadab Future Goals
The club has appointed Marcel Keizer as its manager during the July month of 2023 for Saudi Pro League Season 2023-24. He has great experience in numerous European leagues and therefore shall further enhance the top-notch performance of the team, such that they could win their title after a span of 12 years. Apart from this, the appointment of Habib Diallo as its center forward, the club has conveyed a very strong message to the opposition teams that, this season the club is aiming with an aggressive mindset and an all-around attack on the top-notch teams.
Seung-Gyu Kim has been quite strategically appointed as the goalkeeper while keeping in mind his past 5 year’s performance and thus the club has tried to strike a balance between its offense as well as defense. The inclusion of Éver Banega who is captaining the side, has provided a great bunch of experience to the other team members since he already has experience playing under numerous clubs in Argentina and Portugal.
The team is also giving quite an emphasis on its junior league players so that they could serve as a great asset to them in their future leagues.
