The patience of Spain was fruitful as they walked away with a full three points against Denmark at the Estadio Enrique Roca on Saturday. The La Roja were in full control of the game from the first whistle and was constantly knocking on the door for an opening. The best chance of the first half came to Lamine Yamal, who had one-on-one with Kasper Schmeichel but blasted a shot over the crossbar.
Luis de la Fuente’s side continued pushing and got their reward around the 79th-minute mark when Alex Baena’s cross headed by Nelsson and Martin Zubimendi connected to find the bottom-right easily.
