Uruguay played out a draw against Ecuador in the World Cup qualifier 2026 game at Estadio Centenario on Tuesday. The match turned out to be a thrilling contest between the two as both the teams lacked the final spark to break the deadlock. Uruguay looked like the dominating team in the game but was mostly thwarted by an Ecuadorian defence.
