Zinedine Zidane to Bayern Munich is “practically done”: Reports

According to reports, Zinedine Zidane is about to take over as manager of Bayern Munich as the Frenchman’s contract is supposedly “practically done.”

Zinedine Zidane to Bayern Munich? A huge possibility

Since ending his second stint as Real Madrid manager in 2021, World Cup winner Zidane has been unemployed.

Since then, he has been connected to a number of jobs across the globe, including ones in the Premier League and Ligue 1. He has also been mentioned as Didier Deschamps’ replacement for the France national team.

Zidane is willing to wait for the ideal opportunity to arise, thus no deal has been made. The 51-year-old now seems primed to take the dugout once more, with Bundesliga powerhouses grabbing his attention.

Zidane is “one step away” from taking over as Bayern’s new manager, according to Mundo Deportivo. After leading Harry Kane and company to the Champions League semifinals, Thomas Tuchel has already said that he will be leaving the team at the end of the current campaign.

Zidane is prepared for the task of facing Bayer Leverkusen, who will be the domestic title winners in 2023–24, at the Allianz Arena.
