Carlo Ancelotti reportedly tried his best to persuade the midfielder to stay beyond the summer. Ceballos leaving this late in the transfer window would have made things complicated for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid expecting offers for midfielder Dani Ceballos

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has been reportedly monitored by rival club Real Betis who are expected to make a serious offer for their former club academy graduate. Ceballos has been frustrated with his limited role at Madrid and managed to play in only nine minutes in three games last season.

Los Blancos are open to offers for the Spanish midfielder but would sanction a loan move if there is no compulsory purchase option next summer. Betis have identified Ceballas as the perfect candidate to replace Nabil Fekir who is set for the UAE move.

Ceballos is reportedly valued at €15 million and Real Madrid would not stand in the player’s way if he decides to leave Santiago Bernabeu before deadline day.

As per Fabrizio Romano, newly promoted Serie A side Como have completed the signing of Nico Paz from Real Madrid. The Argentine attacking midfielder is seen as one of the best talents in the Real Madrid academy but it is quite clear that he will struggle for game time with Los Blancos.

Andriy Lunin will not make a move this summer

The Ukrainian goalkeeper played a pivotal role for Real Madrid in their Champions League and La Liga triumphs last season in the absence of No.1 goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. But, Lunin was expected to leave this summer in order to seek a new challenge elsewhere.

However, Real Madrid will run the risk of losing Lunin as a free agent next summer, as his current deal with the club expires in 2025.

The finer details of this deal is yet to be finalized, but Como remain optimistic about this transfer.

Endrick could leave on loan as competition for places at Real Madrid intensifies

According to Spanish media outlet AS, Real Madrid youngster Endrick could leave the club on loan in the January transfer window if he does not get sufficient playing time.

The Brazilian was signed by Real Madrid in December of 2022 but he has just arrived at the club last month, after turning 18. The striker is said to have a clear path for his career, despite all the competition at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid youngster expected to leave this summer

Real Madrid teenager Nico Paz is expected to make a permanent move away from Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the final days of the summer transfer window. La Liga clubs Girona and Alaves have reportedly enquired about the terms of the deal.

Paz had an excellent 2023/24 campaign with Real Madrid Castilla and contributed to ten goals and four assists in 29 matches, while making his senior debut back in November 2023. The youngster has also attracted interest from Cesc Fabregas’ Como, who are monitoring the defender’s situation at Bernabeu.

Como is reportedly pushing over a permanent transfer with Real, insisting on a buy-back clause in the contract. There is no space for the young defender in the Real Madrid first-team given the immense competition for the starting spot.

Carlo Ancelotti gives update on Real Madrid’s transfer plans

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated that the club has decided against signing a central defender and central midfielder in this summer transfer window. Los Blancos have brought in Endrick and Kylian Mbappe and won’t make further signings in the final two weeks of the transfer window.

“The squad is closed and now we have to wait 12 days for it to finish. We don’t need centre-backs because [David] Alaba will recover soon and properly,” Ancelotti told reporters.

“We also have young players ready to play for us. Unfortunately, Joan [Martinez] is out injured, but we also have Jacobo [Ramon] and [Raul] Asencio. They can make a contribution in some matches.”

Real Madrid only have two senior centre-backs available in Antonio and Eder Militao, whereas David Alaba is still nursing his ACL injury and will return later this year. Club legend Nacho has opted to leave this summer, whereas youngster Joan Martinez is still fresh off a serious knee injury.
