Tottenham vs Arsenal Match Preview

Tottenham vs Arsenal will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League as the north London rivals gear up to face each other on April 28.

The hosts will enter this game on the back of a mixed run of form. With four wins in their last eight games, they were in need of some stability with results. The remaining four games were three defeats and a draw as Spurs looked to improve. Having defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1, they fell to a 4-0 defeat against Newcastle United in their last outing. Ange Postecoglou and his men were eager to get a result against their arch-rivals.

The visitors, on the other hand, entered this contest on the back of a decent run of form. They lost just twice in their last eight games, securing four wins and two draws in their remaining games. They secured an important 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers with goals from Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard, before dispatching Chelsea in their last game. Mikel Arteta and his men were eager to win each of their last four games.

Manager Postecoglou will be without a few of his key players for the next game. Long-term absentees Manor Solomon (meniscus), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Richarlison (knee) will certainly miss the game. Destiny Udogie (hamstring) is a doubt and will be assessed in the 11th hour.

Pedro Porro also came off injured in their last game and will be assessed before the game to determine his availability.

Arsenal

Having had multiple players out injured throughout the season, Arteta will finally have a fully-fit squad for the run-in. Jurrien Timber remains the only player to make a full return but the Dutchman has been in action for the u-21s and was also on target.
