In Alison’s absence Kelleher made couple of good saves and completed the lion’s share of passes in the match.

Back from plane and back in the team, Wataru Endo was the missing piece in the midfield after he completed his majority tackles and duels.

Alexis Mac Allister (6/10)

Not his best day at the office, Mac Allister was solid but not effective offensively and looked far from his best in the team.

Curtis Jones (7/10)

Not the day he would have hoped for, Jones was asked to switch roles from midfield to right back which did not contribute well to his ratings in the match.

Darwin Nunez (7.5/10)

Doing what he does best, Nunez was on show again after enduring tough luck in front of the goal in recent weeks. He missed some good chances but scored a hard one in the second half to take the Reds home.

Liverpool Substitutes:

Harvey Elliott (8.5/10)

With only one half of football, Elliott was the shining star for Liverpool providing two assists in the second half and helping the hosts win the match and take home the Player of the Match feat.
