Best Forward Picks for Fantasy Premier League GW 8

The international break for October is nearly over and Fantasy Premier League is almost back. Gameweek 8 promises some thrilling action and this it is important to choose the best forwards to benefit from GW 8. We bring you some suggestions.

5. Jhon Duran

Surely a start has to be coming Jhon Duran‘s way. The pure definition of a super sub, Duran has already found the net 6 times off the bench for club and country this season. The Colombian is young and brave and has the type of self-belief that the best in the world have. Even if he doesn’t start against Fulham, a goal would very much be expected of him.

4. Liam Delap

The son of a storied Premier League man, Liam Delap is here to forge his own legacy in the league and he’s had a damn good start. He graduated from the Manchester City academy with the likes of Cole Palmer and while he’s taken a slightly longer route to the top, he’s here now. The 21-year-old has scored 4 of the 6 goals Ipswich have managed and they have come from a small total of 11 shots. Facing Everton this week, Delap could well increase his tally.

3. Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy is a bonafide Premier League legend. Leicester City have other strikers but none have been able to dispel the 37-year-old from the starting XI. The Foxes have struggled a lot on their return to the Premier League and as a result Vardy only has 2 goals so far. The bigger problem is that in 577 minutes, he’s been able to take only 5 shots. Against fellow strugglers Southampton this weekend, however, that is not expected to be an issue.

2. Dominic Solanke

The next few weeks will be when Dominic Solanke will have to show his real mettle. Son Heung Min is out injured and therefore it’s the new Spurs striker who has to shoulder the responsibility of goalscoring. He should be fine given his quality. Fresh off a return to the England side, Solanke would look to add to his 3-goal contributions this season against West Ham this weekend.

1. Erling Haaland

Who else would be number one on this list? Erling Haaland, to put it simply and honestly, is head and shoulders ahead of all other Premier League strikers. He has 67 points in Fantasy Premier League already and the next best among forwards is Nico Jackson with 42. Wolves have already conceded 21 times and nobody will bet against Haaland adding a few more to that when Manchester City play them this gameweek.
