10. Kobbie Mainoo

Kobbie Mainoo is one of those footballers who came to the shores of Man United youth team and began to shine in the initial days. The 19-year-old versatile attacker signed a contract with the Red Devils back in 2022 when he was a 17-year-old emerging youngster. Soon after his arrival, his performances with Manchester United’s U-18 and U-21 teams started making headlines. The 2023 Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award winner received his first senior call-up in 2023 in an EFL game. He is also one of the few Manchester United academy players who made an international debut even before featuring in senior football.

9. Marcus Rashford

Another name on the list of the best crop of the Manchester United academy players is Marcus Rashford. A product of Fletcher Moss Rangers in the early days of his career, Rashford found his footing truly in the Red Devils’ youth setup when he joined them in 2005 at the tender age of seven. With the help of athleticism, and shooting prowess, Rashford rose through the ranks and earned the United senior team spot in 2015 after spending 10 years as a youth sensation. 

In 2016, he scored a goal in the UEFA Europa League and became the youngest-ever scorer for the Red Devils in a European competition, a record previously held by George Best. Later, he became the youngest scorer ever in the history of the Manchester Derby.
