Enzo Fernandez’s Wife Reveals He’s Chosen Solitude and Distance

According to reports, Argentine footballer Enzo Fernandez, who was married to Valentina Cervantes for several years, has reportedly opted to live a bachelor life.

Valentina Cervantes, a popular influencer in Argentina, had remained mostly quiet on the subject until recently. In a statement, she shared her thoughts, stating, “To be honest, I didn’t expect this to happen, he surprised me. I’m fine now. We were together for six years. Something went wrong,” further adding, “Now Enzo has decided to be alone, to distance himself, but I know what kind of person he is, I know what kind of dad he is, so that calms me down,”

Cervantes noted that she doesn’t have a clear explanation for the choice made by the Chelsea midfielder choice, saying, “We didn’t have any crisis. They wrote that third parties were involved in the situation, that there were betrayals, but that didn’t happen, or at least I didn’t find out about them. He must have had this feeling for a long time, and that’s normal. I accepted that too. That could have happened to me too,”

Chelsea’s Record Signing Struggles for Game Time and Form

Less than two years ago, Chelsea invested approximately $131 million to bring Enzo Fernandez on board, making him the Premier League’s most expensive signing. Currently, Fernandez spends much of his time watching from the bench during recent Premier League games.

The midfielder joined Chelsea after a successful World Cup run with Argentina, where he was awarded the Young Player of the Tournament. While Lionel Messi captured the spotlight, Fernandez’s impact in Argentina’s midfield helped propel the team to victory in Qatar.

The promising version of Fernandez that was seen during the World Cup has rarely been displayed at Chelsea. Despite efforts from four different managers, none have managed to coax out the same level of play he achieves in an Argentina shirt. However, even his recent international performances have shown a slight dip in form. If these struggles continue, his future at Chelsea is bound to be in doubt.
