Barcelona star striker Robert Lewandowski‘s house was left flooded in the recent flash flooding in Spain and his wife shared videos of the situation at their residence. Barcelona has been struck by the extreme weather that has affected much of Spain. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding are impacting multiple regions, with the area around Barcelona now directly in the path of the storms.
Lewandowski’s Home Flooded in Castelldefels
Anna Lewandowski recently shared videos on Instagram revealing the extent of the damage to their £3.3 million home in Castelldefels, a coastal neighbourhood 15 miles west of Barcelona. Her video showed a flooded garage, where she dipped her toe into the water to illustrate its depth. Other clips captured the severe flooding nearby, with one car almost entirely submerged. Thankfully, it appears the water has not yet entered the main living areas of their home.

Valencia Suffers Severe Impact and Loss of Life
While Barcelona now faces worsening weather, other Spanish cities, particularly Valencia, have been hit even harder. Valencia, situated further down the east coast, has been devastated by extensive flooding, leading to widespread destruction of homes, vehicles, and buildings. Tragically, the flooding has led to significant loss of life, with over 2,000 people reported dead due to these extreme conditions.
Flooding has caused severe disruptions to travel across affected regions. In and around Barcelona, train services have been cancelled, over 80 flights delayed or cancelled, and major roads remain closed. Authorities are advising residents to avoid non-essential travel due to dangerous conditions.
