Brighton were the highest-spending English team in the summer with £200 million and also brought in a new manager in Fabian Hurzeler. It has paid off well so far as they sit fifth in the Premier League with four wins, three draws and one defeat so far. They have been excellent for most parts, especially in attack.
Wolves, on the other hand, are at the bottom of the Premier League table with just one point in eight games. Their only point came in a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest and they’ve lost every other game.
Interestingly, Brighton also eliminated Wolves from the EFL Cup third round in September.

Key Players to watch in Brighton vs Wolves
Kaoru Mitoma
The Japanese winger had a good start to the season with one goal and one assist in his first two games. However, he’s flattered to deceive since then, making just one goal contribution in the next six games.
Brighton could be without a number of attacking options like Joao Pedro and Simon Adingra against Wolves. Hence, they will look to Kaoru Mitoma to produce the goods at home and help them extend their two-game winning run.
The Japan international has registered one goal and two assists in eight games across competitions this season.
Rayan Ait-Nouri
Wolves have struggled massively this season and have just one point in eight games. However, Rayan Ait Nouri has arguably been their best player this season. The left-back or left-wing-back has always looked to make things happen on the pitch.
Ait-Nouri has scored two goals and provided two assists in nine games across competitions. Brighton have some excellent wingers, who like to push forward at all times. Hence, it will be an interesting battle between them and Ait-Nouri. The Seagulls’ wingers pushing forward could also open space up for the Algeria international to move forward into.
Brighton vs Wolves Prediction
Brighton have been excellent this season and have lost just one of their 10 games across competitions this season so far, and won six and drawn the other three. After losing 4-2 against Chelsea, the bounced back brilliantly to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 and Newcastle United 1-0 in their last two games.
Wolves, meanwhile, have lost eight of their 10 games across competitions so far, winning one and drawing the other. They drew 1-1 against Nottingham Forest in August and have lost six games in a row since. They narrowly lost 2-1 against Manchester City squad in their last match.
On paper, it appears a comfortable win for Brighton but they have numerous injury issues. Wolves also have a few players missing but will take confidence from their performances against City. It could end in a draw.
