Barcelona 0-1 Leganes player ratings as Los Pepineros hand shocking defeat to the Blaugrana

Leganes defeated Barcelona 0-1 at the Olímpic Lluís Companys in La Liga on Sunday to hand the Blaugrana their second defeat in the last five games. This defeat signified that Barcelona has dropped points for the fifth time in their last six La Liga games. The Blaugrana’s failed to capitalise on the points dropped by Real Madrid after they drew against Rayo Vallecano.

In the early minutes of the game, Oscar Rodriguez’s corner was headed past Inaki Pena by Leganes defender Sergio Gonzalez to give the visiting team the lead. The rest of the half was Barcelona’s game, who tried very hard to equalise but were not able to. The second half felt like Barcelona only came with attackers and Leganes with defenders as Barca dominated possession and the visitors decided to sit back and defend.
