Borussia Dortmund has won their fourth win of the Bundesliga campaign and entered into the top four with a 2-1 victory over St Pauli. The hosts preserved their perfect home record against the visitors as Sahin’s team survived a late comeback goal.
Dortmund had a dominating performance in the game but was not clinical enough to convert those into goals. It was in the 43rd minute when Bensebaini headed home a Pascal Gross chip to give the hosts a lead. St Pauli defender Eric Smith blasted a cracker from the edge of the box in the 78th minute to score the equaliser.
Despite a dominating performance it looked like the hosts are going to walk away with just a point but Guirassy scored the winner around the 83rd minute mark to help them secure full three points.
