Brentford vs Manchester City Player Ratings

Brentford 2-2 Manchester City Player Ratings: The Bees snatch a late draw after suspect defending from the visitors

Brentford hosted Manchester City at the Gtech Community Stadium in the Premier League on January 14 and came from behind to a late 2-2 draw against the defending champions.

The first half was a rather dull affair as both teams started slow and were still finding their feet as they created half-chances but could not convert. Both Brentford and Manchester City arrived in the box multiple times but only a fraction of their shots were on target.

Manchester City took the initiative in the second period and were eager to win the game as they pushed forward with intent. Phil Foden was the focal point of their attacks and put them 1-0 up in the 66th minute. He pounced on another chance to make it 2-0 in the 78th minute.

However, the Bees bounced back late on with Yoane Wissa scoring in the 82nd minute to make it 1-2, and Christian Norgaard converted a lovely chance to square the game in the second of five minutes of added time. The game ended 2-2 and on that note, let’s take a look at the player ratings.
