Freiburg hosted Bayern at their Europa-Park Stadion in the Bundesliga on Saturday, January 25 and fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat against their rivals.

Bayern made a strong start to the match and grabbed the lead just 15 minutes into the contest. Harry Kane converted an assist from Eric Dier to put his team ahead as they continued pushing forward for more. However, that goal was the only shot on target between the two teams in the first half.
