Leicester City player ratings vs Crystal Palace
Goalkeeper
Jakub Stolarczyk – 6: Should have done better for both goals. Had very little to do in the game but was shaky every time he was called into action.
Defenders
James Juston – 6.5: Did more in attack than defense today and was ready to shoot whenever he got the chance. He did not come close. However, and was just unable to influence the result.
Wout Faes – 7.5: Calm at the back and was easily their best defender today. He was brilliant in passing too and even created a chance.
Jannik Vestegaard – 7: Solid performance and did a lot better than expected. He was on the toes of Mateta at every chance, just like Faes.
Victor Kristiansen – 7: He was brilliant at the start and created two good chances. However, he did not get the help in and did not manage to get an assist.
Midfielders
Harry Winks – 7: Played well for the 66 minutes he was on the pitch. He helped his side keep the possession, but the forward passes never resulted in goals.
Boubakary Soumare – 8: He was desperate to get on the scoresheet today but Crystal Palace were happy to let him as he never came to keeping the shots on target.
Facundo Buonanotte – 7: He was on the move full time but never really created anything. He looked lost as there was no one close to ling-up play.
