Nottingham Forest 1-0 Crystal Palace player ratings as Chris Wood’s solitary goal helps Forest secure three points

Nottingham Forest edged past Crystal Palace with a score line of 1-0 in a well-fought contest at the City Ground in Nottinghamshire. The visitors continue their poor start to the Premier League campaign as they are yet to register a victory in the eight games they have played. Forest, on the other hand, ranks eighth with 13 points after this victory.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson would like to forget the mistake he committed. Chris Wood fired a shot from around the 25 yards, and the goalkeeper got a hand to the low effort, but it squirmed into the bottom-left corner. The first half was very lively as both sides hit the woodwork and missed on various opportunities to score. Forest came into this game without their manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, due to his three-match suspension.

In the absence of the injured Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson took up the No. 10 role well and caused several problems for the visitors. Wood had a hat-trick of chances in the first half as one was cleared off the line.
