Sporting CP vs Arsenal Player Ratings

Sporting 1-5 Arsenal: Player Ratings as five scorers put the hosts to the sword in a resounding win for the Gunners

Sporting CP hosted Arsenal at the Jose Alvalade Stadium in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, November 26 and fell to a humiliating 5-1 defeat against the Gunners.

Arsenal made an electric start as Gabriel Martinelli put them 1-0 up just seven minutes into the contest. Kai Havertz then doubled the Gunners’ lead in the 22nd minute as they continued to dominate and push Sporting onto the backfoot. Gabriel scored to make it 3-0 just before half-time.

However, it looked as though the hosts would fight back as Goncalo Inacio made it 3-1 just two minutes after the restart. That was their only respite as Bukayo Saka’s penalty in the 65th minute restored the visitors’ three-goal cushion. Leandro Trossard then scored a late goal to complete the rout.

On that note, let’s take a look at the player ratings.
