Sporting CP 0-3 Borussia Dortmund Player Ratings: Three second half goals in the first leg of the clash gives an edge to Kovac’s side

Borussia Dortmund will be heading to their home satisfied as they secured a good lead in the first leg of the Champions League playoff against Sporting CP. The first half was even throughout with the first chance coming for the hosts through a strike of Maximiliano Araujo which hit the woodwork. Both the sides went into the break in an even mood but the away side came into the second half with an extra enthusiasm which turned the game completely.

In the second half, around the 60th minute Borussia Dortmund opened the scoring with the help of Serhou Guirassy and doubled the lead eight minutes later through Pascal Gross. Karim Adeyemi scored the final goal around the 82nd minute making the score line 3-0.
