Napoli fought back to defeat Udinese 3-1 in the round 16 of Serie A on Saturday at the Bluenergy stadium. Romelu Lukaku, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa and an own goal by Gianetti helped the the Azzurri’s stage a comeback at Udinese’s home.
The first half was much dominated by Napoli except a handball incident which led to the opener for Udinese. Thauvin’s penalty was saved by Meret but luckily for the Frenchman the ball came back to him, allowing him to take another shot to put his side in front.
Antonio Conte’s side turned things around when former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku latched onto a through ball from Scott Mctominay and put it past behind Razvan Sava to equalise. Next came in an own goal from Giannetti which was forced from David Neres and Anguissa scored the third and final goal to secure full three points for the visitors.
