Union Berlin 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen: Player Ratings as Patrik Schick scores the winner for Xabi Alonso’s men

Union Berlin hosted Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Saturday, November 30 and fell to a 2-1 defeat against their visitors in a thrilling match.

The Leverkusen made a great start to the game and raced into a one-goal lead. Jeremie Frimpong scored in the second minute to put his team ahead. However, Union Berlin were no pushovers and levelled the contest midway through the first period. Woo-Yeong Jeong scored the goal and Benedict Hollerbach provided the assist.

Bayer Leverkusen dominated possession early in the second half as well as they looked to create opportunities to score. Patrik Schick then netted a goal to make it 2-1 from Florian Wirtz’s assist to hand the visitors the win.
