It will be one step closer to the Euro 2024 for Israel and Iceland as they meet in a crucial Euro 2024 playoff semifinal on Thursday (Mar 21) at the Pancho Aréna Stadium in Hungary. A man to watch for the home side will be veteran Eran Zahavi, who scored a brace for Maccabi Tel Aviv in a 3-1 victory over Hapoel Haifa over the weekend. Manor Solomon is still sidelined due to injury having not featured for the club since the turn of the year. Johann Berg Gudmundsson, along with Blackburn Rovers winger Arnor Sigurdsson, should start against Israel even if the latter lost his place in Burnley’s starting lineup.
