The Frenchman has been a mainstay at PSG over the last few seasons but will become the most sought-after free agent in the summer. His contract with PSG expires in June 2024 and Mbappe doesn’t intend to extend his stay beyond the summer.
The prolific goalscorer has bagged 38 goals and 8 assists in 37 appearances for the French capital this season. The World Cup winner is expected to join long-time admirers Real Madrid as a free agent but will take a significant pay cut in order to facilitate the move this summer.
Mbappe currently pockets a traditional salary of €72 million net per year which translates to €6 million per month, excluding bonuses at PSG and the figure reaches up to €200 million when all factors are included.

There have been reports that the Frenchman has already reached an agreement with Real Madrid even though Mbappe is free to negotiate with interested parties in the summer.
The attacker’s agent and mother Fayza Lamari has denied that Mbappe has agreed to join the Galacticos in a latest interview at the French presidential palace.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants Mbappe to be the club’s newest Galactico and has reportedly offered a €35m (£30m/$38m) annual offer on the table making him the highest-paid player in the club’s history.
But Real Madrid would allow Mbappe to have a major share of his image rights, to the tune of more than 50%. A signing-on fee of €100m could be handed to the Frenchman if he agrees on a five-year contract. Mbappe will likely wear the No.10 jersey as Luka Modric is expected to end his spell with Real Madrid this summer.
