Al-Hilal are reportedly interested in signing Olympique Marseille left-back Renan Lodi in the ongoing January transfer window. They have also advanced in talks with the French club for a potential move.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the two sides are negotiating a transfer fee of around €20 million. Brentford were also interested in signing the Brazilian fullback but it appears he is set to move to the Saudi Pro League instead.
Marseille, meanwhile, are looking to sign Josh Doig from Serie A side Hellas Verona to replace Lodi. The 21-year-old Scottish fullback has impressed in his 13 appearances across competitions this season for the Italian side.
Marseille are in advanced talks to sign Doig, which once complete, will allow Lodi to move to Al-Hilal. Brentford were also previously linked with the Brazilian fullback.

Lodi has played for clubs like Atletico Madrid and Nottingham Forest in the past. The 25-year-old joined Marseille from Atletico last summer and has played 23 games for them across competitions.
Lodi could prove to be a big signing for Al-Hilal, who sit atop the Saudi Pro League table, seven points above Al-Nassr. He could be reunited with his compatriots Neymar Jr. and Malcolm at the club.
