Al-Hilal defeated Inter Miami in a thrilling game in the Riyadh Season Cup in the Kingdom Arena on Monday, January 29. Both sides are preparing for their respective competitive seasons to start and faced off on Monday as part of their preparations.
Al-Hilal began brilliantly as Aleksandar Mitrovic (10’) and Abdullah Al-Hamdan (13’) gave them a 2-0 lead. Luis Suarez equalised for Inter Miami in the 34th minute but Michael made it 3-1 in the 44th minute.
Lionel Messi scored off a penalty in the 54th minute before David Ruiz restored parity in the 55th minute. With the game heading for a 3-3 draw, Malcolm got the telling touch as he scored in the 88th minute to secure the win for Al-Hilal.
Both sides will next face Al-Nassr in their preparations for their seasons. Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will face off against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr on February 1 while Al-Hilal will face the Knights of Njad on February 8.
