In the midst of a left-back crisis, Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Fulham to explore the possibility of securing Antonee Robinson in a January deal, according to recent reports. The Reds find themselves without their two senior left-back options, with Andy Robertson recovering from shoulder surgery and Kostas Tsimikas nursing a broken collarbone sustained in the clash against Arsenal on December 23.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp acknowledged the challenging situation, emphasizing the uncertainty surrounding Joe Gomez’s ability to fill the left-back role for an extended period. Robinson, hailing from Milton Keynes, began his football journey in Liverpool’s academy and was named Under-18s Player of the Season in 2015. However, he never made a senior appearance for the Reds’ city rivals. In the current 2023/24 season, Robinson has contributed three assists in 18 appearances under the management of Marco Silva.
