Arsenal re-evaluating striker options in the transfer market

Arsenal are reportedly thinking of backtracking on their course to sign a new number nine this month, as per reports.

Despite Eddie Nketiah planning to leave by the 31st of August, the Gunners are yet to dive into the market to grab a quick deal for a new striker.

For the upcoming season, Arsenal aims to stop Manchester City and win the Premier League, with Mikel Arteta believing he has enough top talents and quality up front.

Since the beginning of the year, Kai Havertz’s transformation has been vital to Arteta’s confidence in his attacking options with Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard playing down the middle and leading the attack.

Even though Arsenal pulled the plug for striker pursuit, the North London side has their eyes set on a central midfielder before the deadline day.
