Mikel Arteta’s side are leading the league table but remains second-favourites due to the fact that Manchester City have one game in hand. The Cityzens have the upper hand in the tile because of their extra game in hand.

Arsenal have a real chance to end their 20-year title drought in the coming days as they battle for Premier League glory. They have already begun preparations for celebrations on Monday 20 May – the day after the final game of the season. The logistical requirements must be in place with road closures and other operational requirements needing to be sorted well in advance.

The champions of the Premier League this season will likely be crowned on May 19, 2024 due to the likelihood of the title race going right down to the wire. Arsenal have to give preliminary plans to Islington council if they were to arrange a parade on May 20th.

An email sent to residents from the Islington council: “I am writing to you to inform you of a potential Arsenal Football Club parade on Monday 20 May 2024 at 5 pm.

“In the event that Arsenal Football Club are successful in winning the Premier League, a bus parade would take place. It would start and finish at Emirates Stadium, going via the Town Hall on Upper Street, Islington.”
