Aston Villa and Arsenal played earlier today at the Villa Park and Arsenal came off with a 2-0 win. Substitute Leandro Trossard gave them the lead off the bench. Thomas Partey then scored the second ten minutes later. Villa has their chances but failed to capitalize.

Amadou Onana – 6/10: Rare ineffective outing for the Belgian. Failed to control the game.

Youri Tielemans – 7/10: Created 2 chances, the joint most in the Villa team. One of their better players.

John McGinn – 6/10: Not his greatest outing. The Villa captain wasn’t at his best.

Leon Bailey – 6/10: Well marshalled by the Arsenal defence. Created one chance and took one shot.
