Ter Stegen – 6/10. Unconvincing for the second goal. Needs to buckle up a little more.

Alex Valle – 6/10. Again played on his weaker side, it is possible that Hansi Flick sees him more as an RB. Good deliveries, but struggled defensively against Leao.

Sergi Dominguez – 4/10. Soft and apprehensive. Needs to do better to be considered for the first team.

Clement Lenglet – 4/10. Nothing seems to have changed. Barca will be hoping to get rid of him sooner than later though.

Gerard Martin – 6/10. Mixed outing. Barca are probably better off using Julian Araujo than him.

Andreas Christensen – 6/10. After last season, Christensen was back in midfield for this game. Did his job but playing him there hurts the ball progression.

Marc Casado – 7/10. Grew into the game. Expect him to see a fair share of minutes at least in the first few games.

Ilkay Gundogan – 5/10. Looked off-pace intensity-wise. How well he reacts to Hansi Flick’s pressing system remains to be seen.

Raphinha – 6/10. Usual performance from him. Kept running and kept trying. Finishing needs to go up a notch though.

Pau Victor – 7/10. Beautiful assist for Lewandowski’s second. Has been the best player on Barca’s pre season tour. Where he stands compared to the likes of Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati will be interesting to see.

Robert Lewandowski – 8/10. Looks sharp in front of goal. A solid brace here for the marksman.

Substitutions:

Jules Kounde – 7/10. Another comfortable outing for Kounde, there’s never much to complain about him ever.

Marc Bernal – 8/10. Really good appearance from him once again. Will be expected to start the first game of the season. Barca might have something on their hands here.

Quim Junyent – 6/10. Good minutes for him. Not quite as ready as Bernal but the potential is clear.

Inaki Pena – 5/10. Didn’t have anything to do at all after coming on.

Guille Fernandez – 6/10. Pretty much the same as Junyent. The talent is clear, but still quite raw. Needs at least a full season with the reserve team.

Mika Faye – 6/10. Played LB interestingly, although he had nothing much to do.

Antonio Fernandez – 6/10. Pretty much the same as Junyent or Guille. Has some good technique but other aspects need work.

Inigo Martinez– 6/10. Solid game, did the job without much fuss. Easily an upgrade over Lenglet.

Vitor Roque – 6/10. Pressed well when needed. Didn’t really get a chance to impact the game. Let’s see whether his future is at the club.

Andres Cuenca – 5/10. Barely had anything to do after coming on.

Lorenzo Torriani—8/10. Very impressive outing for the young keeper. Should become backup to Maignan this season.

Alexis Saelemaekers —6/10. The experiment of playing him at RB looks good in possession but he struggled without the ball. He needs more time to adjust to the position.

Fikayo Tomori —4/10. Very unconvincing. Could well be set to lose his spot in the side. Needs to improve a lot.

Malick Thiaw—4/10. A poor outing for Thiaw too. Unsure in his actions, playing with a lack of confidence. Milan could be in trouble if both their central defenders play like this.

Filipon Terracciano— 4/10. Didn’t shine in defence or attack. Doesn’t look comfortable playing out of the back, like Fonseca wants.

Yunus Musah—7/10. A good outing for the American. Could be set for a big role this season. Immense out of possession.

Ruben Loftus Cheek— 5/10. Has struggled all of pre season. Yet to fit into the new system. Could struggle for a starting berth.

Rafael Leao — 7/10. A constant menace, Leao was at his typical dangerous self. Should ideally cement himself as one of the best wingers in the world.

Christian Pulisic —9/10. Goal and assist for Pulisic. Combined very well with his fellow attackers and looked threatening.

Samu Chukwueze — 8/10. Given more freedom and opportunity by Fonseca to play his natural game. Good be set for a big season. That three behind the striker is a seriously good combination.

Luka Jovic — 6/10. Scored a tap in, didn’t do that much else. Will be Milan’s starting number #9 at the beginning of the season.

Yacine Adli—6/10. Looks decent with the ball but just too easy to play around.
