Cadiz will host title-holders Barcelona in a crucial weekend clash in La Liga on Saturday, April 13. Both sides are pole part in the league standings and Barcelona are aiming to close the gap with league leaders Real Madrid.
Cadiz are desperately trying to retain their league status for a fight straight year and are currently sitting at 18th in the La Liga table. Despite their struggles this season, Cadiz could escape out of the relegation zone if they manage to be consistent in the final eight games of the season. They have scored just 21 goals this season which is the lowest in the division.
Barcelona are chasing the lead in the league table, collecting 67 points in 30 games. They are eight points behind leaders Real Madrid and just two ahead of third-place Girona. The reverse fixture earlier this season ended in Barcelona’s favour with a 2-0 victory. The Blaugrana giants have been outstanding on their travels lately, winning five of their six away matches in La Liga.
