Clement Lenglet set to join Atletico Madrid on permanent deal

Barcelona are in talks with Atletico Madrid for outcast defender Clement Lenglet who is set to leave Camp Nou on a permanent deal this summer. The Frenchman is not a part of Hansi Flick’s project in the upcoming campaign and will be allowed to leave.

He spent the last season on loan at Aston Villa and has now agreed personal terms with Atletico who are currently in negotiations with Barcelona over a transfer fee. Villarreal also expressed an interest in the centre-back but the 29-year-old has agreed to join the Colchoneros.
